Healthy Living: Helen Lost 82 Pounds: 'Helping Others Is What Life Is All About'
A man faces cocaine trafficking charges in South Carolina after police say they found a kilo of the drug hidden in his prosthetic leg.
Glodualdo Moreno Lojan and two other people traveling in the same car were arrested after a police officer patted Logan down and felt what he described as an "odd square bulge" in lodged between Lojan's fake limb and his real leg, The Anderson Independent-Mail reported.
The officer alleges that he discovered the protruding package was a plastic bag stuffed with coke, The Associated Press said.
The incident began when officer Brad Dowis pulled over Lojan and his companions for allegedly driving too slow in Interstate 85's fast lane.
However, Lojan's lawyer challenged in court on Friday that the stop should have never happened, because the driver, Mario Sanchez, was going 50 mph in a zone where the speed limit was 45 mph, the Independent-Mail said.
Sanchez and passenger Traci Helms were all charged with drug trafficking.
