Immediately following the airing of "New York Says Thank You" at 9:30 p.m. (EST), AOL will be hosting a live chat with Scott Rettberg, the film's producer, Jeff Parness, the founder of New York Says Thank You, and AOL's Tim Armstrong.

"New York Says Thank You" is an epic story of healing and patriotic heroism that charts the journey of four New Yorkers whose lives were touched by September 11 -- as they travel the country to help communities rebuild after their own disasters. Along the way, these individuals grow, face their emotions, and ultimately triumph over tragedy through an amazing community effort that evolved from a five-year-old New York City boy's idea to help others. The effort of this little boy (Jeff Parness' son) is what started the New York Says Thank You Foundation, an organization that sends hundreds of volunteers from New York along with disaster survivors from around the country to help rebuild communities around the United States recovering from disaster.

Scott Rettberg: Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, Scott has made it his calling to see projects emphasize quality from concept to delivery for more than 10 years. Working in both film and television, he has been an essential branch of the films “Bled,” “Ascension Day” (Staring Ving Rhames, Peter Dinklage and Anthony Mackie), and the award-winning independent short “Cooking with Cannibals.” Scott’s craft for television have been seen on “Myth Busters,” “The Apprentice,” “Starting Over,” “Project Runway” and many others. Mr. Rettberg enjoys finding great story matter with depth and heart and watching as it develops. Directing and producing “New York Says Thank You” has been a five-year journey. The commitment has been to tell a story of strength, courage, hope, and humanity born out of what was just a simple notion of sharing some toys by 5-year-old New Yorker, Evan Parness. Scott hopes the film will enlighten people to the power of reaching out to help those in need and how a simple act of kindness can snowball into a massive unified effort. New York Says Thank You is Scott’s directorial debut and he is honored to be a part of the Tribeca Film Festival.

Jeff Parness: Jeff founded and serves as Chairman of The New York Says Thank You Foundation, a nationwide disaster relief non-profit organization which sends volunteers from New York City each year on the 9/11 Anniversary to help rebuild communities around the United States affected by disaster. Prior to that Jeff served as Executive Chairman and remains an Advisory Board member to TeleContinuity, a telecom disaster recovery company focused on the government and insurance industry and backed by a grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce National Institute of Standards.

Tim Armstrong: As Chairman and CEO of AOL, Tim is responsible for setting strategy and overseeing the businesses and day-to-day operations of the company. In December 2009, he took the company public with a listing on the NYSE. Armstrong joined AOL in April 2009 from Google, where he was President of The Americas Operations, overseeing North American and Latin American advertising sales and marketing. Armstrong was a member of Google's Operating Committee, the company's executive team. Prior to Google, Armstrong was Vice President of Sales and Strategic Partnerships for Snowball.com, and Director of Integrated Sales and Marketing at Starwave's and Disney's ABC/ESPN Internet Ventures. Armstrong co-founded a newspaper based in Boston, Mass. and later joined IDG, where he launched its first consumer Internet magazine, I-Way. Armstrong is on the Boards of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), the Advertising Council and the Advertising Research Foundation.
