Sex For Cheeseburgers: Christine Baker Offered Favors For Two Doubles, Cops Say

She was lovin' it a little too much.

Manatee resident Christine Faith Baker, 47, was arrested after she allegedly offered sexual favors for two McDonald's dollar-menu cheeseburgers, according to the Miami Herald.

An undercover officer invited Baker into his car on Friday and started talking about sex. Baker allegedly said that her fee was two McDoubles -- the dollar-menu version of a double cheeseburger -- costing a grand total of $2.75.

Of course, Baker was also allegedly looking for a tip of another $40 for her services, the Bradenton Herald reported.

The detective bought the burgers and drove to a vacant lot, where other agents arrested Baker on charges of prostitution. It's yet unclear whether she was allowed to eat the delicious doubles before she was taken to jail.

Baker was released on Saturday.

Hmmm.....what was she arrested for....???? I had to spend weeks winning and dinning, sitting through horrible chick flicks, cuddling on the sofa for hours and listening to mindless hours of babble just to get some....total cost was well over a thousand....I have been jipped...I want by money back and that woman put in jail...I could have just bought two sandwiches and been done with it...darn....men will never learn.

Correction for the story: When McDonalds raised the prices of their double cheeseburgers above $1/each, they introduced the McDouble, with less meat, on the Dollar Menu. This story indicates the cost of two McDoubles is 2.75, and is in fact $2 or $2.12 after tax in Florida.

But if he would have just bought it for her, with the expectation of 'favors' after the 'date' that would have been fine. But if they talk about it prior to paying for the meal, it's illegal. Stupid is stupid.

From the photo, it looks like that poor woman has the haunted look and missing teeth of meth addict. She needs rehab, not jail. Yet in defense of cops busting prostitutes: where hookers gather, drug dealers follow.

Its a sad day; when the police arrest a human being for being hungry. The cop doesn't not a have a christian heart!!! The dead beat cop should have taken her to a shelter. Evil is wearing the badge!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree. It reminds me of Jewish women in concentration camps who sold their bodies for food from German guards. Starvation causes you to not think right and causes our self-preservation to kick in. If she did this because she was hungry, then she should have been given food and not arrested.

I just do not agree with the prostitution laws. The woman was a way to earn money and she wasn't being forced to do it? So why do we say it's illegal? Oh that's right, someone is forcing their religious morality on the government.
