KEMAH, Texas -- Police say a man arrested in a Southeast Texas city for riding his unicycle in the nude was distracting drivers and creating a hazard.

Kemah (KEE'-muh) police Chief Greg Rikard (RY'-kurd) says 45-year-old Joseph Glynn Farley was not intoxicated or impaired when he was arrested Wednesday on a bridge in the city 20 miles southeast of Houston.

Rikard says Farley had been falling off the unicycle and into traffic.

Farley told officers that he liked the feeling of riding without his clothes, which were found at the base of the bridge.

Police charged Farley, of Clear Lake, with misdemeanor indecent exposure. Bond is set at $1,500.

Online jail records did not list an attorney for Farley.

It will be nice to see how he reacts when he is put on the sex offender registry, and has to live over 2000 feet from just about everywhere the rest of his life, not to mention his house being vandalized on a weekly basis (most law enforcement agencies don't even bother taking vandalism calls from registered sex offenders anymore), lose his job, get kicked off facebook, and have everyone point a finger at the pervert for the rest of his life.

He should have robbed a bank. The fallout would have been far easier to take.

Let me explain something to you, Eric Night.
"A sex offender (SEXUAL offender, SEX abuser or SEXUAL abuser) is a person who has committed a SEX crime. What constitutes a sex crime differs by culture and legal jurisdiction. Most jurisdictions compile their laws into sections, such as traffic, assault and sexual. The majority of convicted sex offenders have convictions for crimes of a SEXUAL nature; however, some sex offenders have simply violated a law contained in a sexual category."
I hate to add that last item, it's a fishy one...
But while this guy may be an exhibitionist (which still does not equals SEXUAL acts), it is nowhere stated that, while biking, he jerked off a stiffie. There is nowhere stated that he tried to climb into cars to rape drivers.
His arrest was correct. He distracted the traffic. Like a street crossing girl in a very short skirt and a spectacular cleavage will create havoc on the road (and SHE will never be arrested).
So it's simply not HIS fault that people cause traffic jams and crashes and drive hysterically screaming into shop windows because of seeing an unclothed person. Not even in the Bible you will find the verdict that nudity = sex = sin. I add that, because I presume you are under the influence of a religion that thrives on frustration and repression.
