A woman claiming to be the now infamous "Buxom Bandit" has surrendered to Australian police, according to News.com.au.

Security footage of a voluptuous blonde in a low-cut top robbing a gas station probably made the unidentified suspect one
of the country's "most wanted" criminals. Now, Tonee Walker has turned herself in, claiming to be that thief.

Walker, 22, was charged with one count each of armed robbery and stealing last Friday, just four days after the July 2 heist in Australia's Gold Coast. She was in court on Friday.

Her alleged getaway driver, Alexander Joshua Spinks, also appeared in court on Friday after turning himself into police, according to NineMSN.

He allegedly told authorities that, moments before the robbery, Walker exposed her breasts so that the gas station clerk had "something to look at."

The "Buxom Bandit" became a viral phenomenon after security video of her wielding a knife in a provocative outfit emerged on the Internet. She was mocked by some outlets for not covering her face and for wearing only one glove, thereby potentially leaving behind fingerprints.

The Daily Mail reports that police opposed bail because Walker is on probation for drug offenses and her "erratic and violent" behavior appeared to be escalating.

The judge agreed and denied bail.

She is also believed to be battling drug and alcohol problems, the Mail reported.

Walker's Facebook page includes the June 28 status update, "Tonee Walker: Is keen to get absolutely drunk tonight! Who's coming."

On July 4, two days after the early-morning robbery, a status update reads, "Im selling my tattoo gun guys who wants it :)."

Chris Rossiter, Walker's lawyer, said his client and her family were embarrassed by all the publicity the robbery has garnered.

"She's aware of all the notoriety she's received - it wasn't something she set out to achieve,' Rossiter said. "It's been devastating for the family. It just seems out of character."

She can rob me of my innocence any time she wants. I swear that I won't resist.

At least she turned herself in and thats the first step in turning your life around. We live in a society that jumps on anyone who fails to live up to the image of civilized society but when the people in charge parasite off the massess and use guns to do it then really what is this womans crime? We put people in jail for putting chemicals into their own body but reward corporations and executives with lots of cash if they put chemicals in our ground and water that gives us cancer and has our brains rot out. The days of pointing out the faults in others while the world falls apart is just about over, hard to worry about a woman robbing a store with a skimpy top when theres no food in the cupboard and the tax man dont care and wants his cut of everything you got. How bout run stories on the filth that calls itself our leaders both political and business and lets examine their lives in microscopic detail as they do the little mans and see what really lurnks behind the fake smiles and pricey clothes, filth that hides behind the error of others so it can commit crimes against the masses.
