Youths who had their house party broken up by the cops quickly moved the rager to a nearby Jacksonville Walmart on Saturday night, creating a veritable flash mob, according to News 4JAX.
A police report obtained by the station said the group of about 300 destroyed an electronic anti-shop lifting security scanner that costs about $1,500.
The Florida Times Union reports that the youngsters also allegedly stole snacks and sodas from the store and that gunshots were fired into the air outside the Walmart, but no one was injured.
Police are looking over video of the incident to determine if charges will be filed, and there was also a report that someone was shot at the preceding house party. Both incidents are under investigation, according to the Times Union.
Video of the Walmart flash mob posted on YouTube generated a number of racially-tinged comments about the mostly African-Americans featured in the clip.
Some commenters expressed a general sense of dismay.
"As you watch this video, you watch the future of America," one commenter wrote. "How does it look?"
Black flash mobs are not 'set up' they just 'happen' and ALWAYS involve destruction; OFTEN involve assaulting whites; and are just ridiculous, low brow, trashy, and why do the rest of us have to LIVE LIKE THIS?
These people are a spirited bunch who implicitly realize that money is printed and Wal-Mart is subsidized by -who else- the taxpayer. Maybe you've got a whole bunch of reasons why you want to make some family in Arkansas rich but I don't.
These guys just cut out the middleman and are a heck of a lot more ebullient than the tragic scenes at 11:59pm before the 5th of the month when the local white meth heads load up their carts.
THAT shows an incredibly high amount of hatred and racism.
I'm sick of hearing that whites are racist; while blacks scream racial hate word at us & if in a comment (like here) those comments are approved, showing total disregard for anti-white racism; while blacks only vote for blacks no matter how incompetent or unqualified. IF an all white voting district still existed and they NEVER elected a black official there'd be some kind of washington march & demands that blacks be cut into their district, while the EXISTING all black voting districts are 100% represented by black officials, those same people feel 'that's fair' because ONLY a black politician could EVER understand how they feel, what they've been through, and what they want.
OK fair enough.
I feel the same way about blacks representing ME in an official capacity, but, I'd be called a white supremacist.
However, if whites are TOTALLY incapable of representing a black district (politically) out of some kind of 'ignorance or inability to do their jobs' JUST BECAUSE he's WHITE; and they are black; then why am I expected to believe that blacks could understand what I need or want, what I've been through or how I feel? NON UNDERSTANDING is not peculiar to whites - and yet WE are forced constantly to have representation by people who only seem to want to help their own race.
America IS MOST DEFINITELY IN BIG TROUBLE.
