The members of the "Fierce Five" have been everywhere since returning from the London Olympics, making an appearance at the New York Stock Exchange and doing the rounds as talk show guests. Just last week, the quintet of U.S. gymnasts appeared at the VMAs. As part of their travels around the country, the gymnasts have been performing as part of the Kellogg's Tour Of Gymnastics Champions 2012.

Two members of the group that won team gold in women's gymnastics, Aly Raisman and McKayla Maroney, both suffered injuries on a tour stop in California over the weekend, as first reported by WCVB.com.

Per the report, both gymnasts were injured during their uneven bar routines. Raisman's knee hit the concrete floor on her dismount and she was able to walk off on her own. Maroney's injury was reportedly a little more serious as she had to be carried out by medics after an awkward landing.

In the video below taken by a spectator in the stands, a gymnast identified as Maroney by a fan in the background fell backwards and couldn't get back to her feet. Moments after Maroney was carried away, Raisman landed on her stomach while her knee hit the unprotected floor.

One blogger at the show took a photo of Maroney being helped off and had this account:

I looked over just when McKayla landed (feet apart and sort of crouched if I recall correctly) and she either fell right after she landed or took a hop and then fell. Either way she was on the ground and she wasn't really getting back up. Aly (who was preparing for her turn on bars) came over to see if she was ok. Two medics noticed that Mack was down so they came running over, she must have said she was hurt because they both picked her up between them and carried her out of the arena.

More from the Associated Press:

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Aly Raisman and McKayla Maroney aren't feeling quite so fierce these days.

The Olympic gold medalists were both injured Sunday night when they fell while performing on uneven bars during the second stop of a 40-city gymnastics tour. Maroney hurt her left knee, and was having additional tests Monday to determine the extent of the injury. Raisman has bruised knees but is not expected to miss any shows. The tour's next stop is Thursday in San Diego.

Raisman, Maroney and the rest of the Fierce Five -- Gabby Douglas, Kyla Ross and Jordyn Wieber -- claimed the gold at this summer's London Games, the first Olympic title for the U.S. women since 1996. Raisman added a second gold on floor exercise, while Maroney won silver on vault.
