May Baily's Place, a bar in New Orleans, LA, was once one of the area's better known bordellos from 1897 to 1917. It was run by Madame May Baily, and many of her prostitutes were known to be criminals who drugged their customers. Some of Baily's employees even claimed to have murdered customers at times.
Today, May Baily's Place is one of the Big Easy's many historical tourist attractions and is decorated in a Victorian style. The crew from 'Ghost Adventures' went to investigate the staff's many claims of poltergeist activity. Glasses and chairs had allegedly been seen moving on their own. One visitor claimed she had been scratched near a double door while on a tour. Upon investigation, it was discovered that a woman from decades ago had been shot and killed by an unknown figure in one of May Baily's suites.
