Kathleen Miles is an Associate Editor for HuffPostLA. She earned her BA from UC Berkeley, where she studied Political Economy of Non-Industrialized Studies. She has worked in labor, education and politics as Political Action Coordinator for the Iron Workers International during the 2004 presidential election; District Representative for U.S. Congressman Adam Schiff; Field Investigator for the U.S. National Labor Relations Board; and Teach for America middle school teacher in South Central (while simultaneously getting her MA in Education from Loyola Marymount). Before coming to The Huffington Post, she worked for the Patt Morrison program at KPCC, the NPR affiliate for Southern California.
