Travis Korte graduated from UC Berkeley in 2010. With his major in comparative literature, he is working toward a long-form mixture of popular science and popular culture writing. At Berkeley, he wrote a column for the student newspaper about creative non-artists in the San Francisco Bay Area and searched for extraterrestrials as a writer for SETI. He writes reviews for fwd.dj, the DJ resource and techno music publication, and he wrote a novella-length wiki in the summer of 2010. On the side, he enjoys hip-hop music, Wikipedia and contemporary art.
